| | | Submitting Your Work
Shilin publishes abridged articles from students of Leiden University’s Sinology department. Students are welcome to inquire on the possibilities for publishing their papers. However, there are some pre-requisites. In order to guarantee the quality of the journal, Shilin only accepts original and challenging papers that have been graded with an 8 or higher. The teaching staff is encouraged to recommend students’ papers for publication if these papers meet the demands.
Book Reviews
As introduced in the second issue of our third volume, Shilin now also aims to publish book reviews alongside the abridged papers in our journal.
As this is completely new to us, we are still in the process of setting up some general submission requirements and editorial guidelines for this. Should you however already have a book review ready or planned that you think might be well suited for our journal, do not hesitate to contact us about the possibilities in the meantime!
Editorial Guidelines
Please refer to our editorial guidelines for more information on how to edit your article for publication in Shilin. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our editorial team at editor.shilin@gmail.com.
